Rep. -elect David J. Sanders (R-31) has just pre-filed HB1005 that would change the state’s nickname back to the “Land of Opportunity”.
First Pre-File of the 2011 Session: Capital Gains Reduction Act
Today marks the first day that members can pre-file legislation for the upcoming legislative session. Up first? HB1002 from Rep. Ed Garner. The bill would exempt 100% of the net capital gain from the sale of any property acquired after July 11, 2011.
